Have You Seen Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls New Bus? It is the Real Machine

The school buses of today are sleek and built with an elegance not forgetting the dope body graffiti. Gone are the days when high school students rode some old trucks which the only they were good for is sooty exhaust fumes. We all remember the Starehe Boys’ old bus nicknamed, Wooden Horse and Dagoretti’s Jumbo just to mention but a few. The new names, like Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls, that have come with new rides in high schools can tell you how good a transformation it has brought.

When the photos of the new Bee Gee’s school bus surfaced online, everyone was talking about it because of its elegant design and looks. The brand new bus was a surprise to one of the best girl’s school in the country, which is located in the heart of Nyeri County. Vivo energy on the 8th of July announced through its Twitter handle that through their community investment initiative, they had surprised the school with a new bus a week before.

The 67-seater bus was welcomed with jubilation by both the girls and the teachers. With such an asset, am sure the community is similarly enthused by the development because let’s face it; it is at their disposal for use. According to photos on the internet, the school compound was thrilled with dancing beside the welcoming burner at the gate to usher in the new babe in town. The most memorable moments for the students though were the hugging and the selfie moments, most of them waiting for that first ride out. However, enough of the people and happiness, let’s not forget the subject of the day.

The new Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls bus has the exteriors painted in the school green and white official colors but not as old fashioned as we were used to during our school years. The Modern Coast Version bus is among many school buses that have joined the league of high schools lately which are well pimped and even bear the school’s nicknames. The schools A.K.A BEE GEE creates a pattern all around the bus’ body. The new eight-wheeler Scania came to relief the old truck, Bone Shaker; the school was previously using. This bus will touch the lives of the current population of students and those to come as well as affecting the alumni. Alongside praising the new coach, the school’s alumni have emphasized that the girls should work harder to become the best in the country.
